The safeguarding governor for Reading School is Bob Kenwrick.

It is a real honour and privilege to be elected as Parent Governor in November 2024. As a parent of a child who began at Reading School in 2022, I am really keen to support this prestigious academic institution to help our boys fulfil their potential.

I am a Pharmacist by profession, but now working as a Senior Manager within the NHS, which has given me a strong understanding of the significance of regulation, accountability and governance. I am responsible for 154 GP practice contracts, across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and parts of Berkshire.

Since 2016 I have served as a school governor at a local primary school, and have been involved in various governing body sub-committees and had the privilege of being the Mathematics and Science link Governor.

In addition to my Governing Body role, I have academic experience as a former lecturer in the School of Pharmacy at University of Reading.

I am passionate about inclusiveness and am Chair of an NHS staff network, which

supports people from ethnically diverse backgrounds and raises awareness of cultural differences.
