Social Mobility Awareness Day 2023

This year’s Social Mobility Awareness Day theme is #SpeakMore and its aim is to spread awareness of what social mobility can look like.

Reading School has actively championed social mobility for children, young people and their families for the last 7 years. Ways in which we have achieved this are through our flagship Future Stories programme and by partnering with organisations such as Johnson Matthey in order to improve access to quality STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education.

We are committed to ensuring inclusion, equity and opportunities are available for children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and, as advocates of social mobility in education, we support Social Mobility Awareness Day 2023.
