Speed Book Dating 2017

Years 7 and 8 were welcomed back to school with a special Speed Book Dating library lesson this week.  Classes visited the LRC during English lessons for a special activity that involved reading a book for three minutes and then swapping to try another book for three minutes and then again for a further three minutes.  Pupils enjoyed having the library to themselves; recommending books to each other and choosing books to take home.  It was wonderful to see so many of the boys trying new genres and new authors and it was encouraging to see so many of them borrow books at the end of each lesson.
