Reading School Prefect Team 2020

You will have displayed key attributes underpinned by our core values of Excellence, Leadership, Integrity and Community to have been selected as a Prefect or for the potential that has been recognised in you. Many of these skills and qualities are common with leadership, such as: confidence, decisiveness and the ability to communicate and connect effectively.

The Prefect team will be led by Daniel N (School Captain) supported by Ross H, Aditya K, Suyash S and Charles C (Vice Captains).

As a School Prefect a weight of responsibility rests on your shoulders.  Staff will ask you to take on extra duties in addition to your normal studies and extracurricular activities and expect you to behave in an exemplary manner at all times, setting the standard by which the other students measure themselves. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the ethos of the school carries across to all areas of school life.

The enthusiasm of the Prefect Team has already been demonstrated by various members of the team stepping up to specific duties and we are looking forward to the introduction to new initiatives and ensuring we build on past strengths of previous leadership teams.   

The title and position of School Prefect is an honour and a privilege and we hope that you will look back on your time in this role with a sense of pride, particularly in future years when you move on to university and further afield.
